Acanthus – the  botanical source for many of the stylized and repeat leaf patterns found in classical architecture.  The acanthus leaves are featured in Corinthian columns.

A recognition and celebration form and pattern is central to my this series of black and white botanical photos. This photograph makes an emphatic statement when reproduce 36″ by 36″ ( 92cm bt 92cm) – or larger. “Dandelion,” will compliment modern or eclectic interiors. The depth of the black and white tones is enhanced with face-mount style or aluminum composite frameless printing.

“Pastel Grass,” is one of a set of twelve abstract botanical photographs. These photographs were on display at Laura;s Coffee Corner in White Rock during the months of August and September, 2014. The painterly qualities of this series of photos is best viewed when prints are reproduced at a larger scale (3 by 5 feet).
