Grass Dancer

“Grass Dancer” was photographed using deliberate motion blur. This technique produces images that can be compared to those of the Impressionist Painters. The goal is to capture the light and movement around a subject, rather than the subject itself. The resulting image is more ethereal than literal.  Some other pictures from this “Tribal” series of aboriginal dancers are included below.  The dancers were photographed at the Fusion Festival in Surrey, BC on July 23-24, 2016.
